About CBT

Psychological & therapeutic services for schools

Helping schools understand behaviour, intervene earlier and support better outcomes for children and young people.

We combine high-intensity CBT, psychological formulation, neurodiversity-informed practice and practical therapeutic intervention to help schools understand what may be driving a young person's emotional, behavioural or psychological difficulties — and, importantly, what can be done to support meaningful change.

What we offer

Every school and every young person is different. Our service can be tailored around the needs of your pupils, staff and wider school community.

From understanding to intervention to change

With nearly two decades of clinical experience working with children, young people and adults, we work collaboratively with schools through a clear, structured sequence.

Step 1

Understand the difficulty

We begin by building a clear picture of what the young person is experiencing, drawing on school information, developmental history and direct assessment.

Step 2

Identify what is maintaining it

Psychological formulation sets out the thoughts, feelings, behaviours and environmental factors keeping the difficulty in place.

Step 3

Develop a clear plan

A practical, agreed plan sets out what will change, who is involved and how school, home and therapy work together.

Step 4

Deliver targeted intervention

High-intensity CBT and psychologically informed intervention are delivered individually, in groups or through staff and parent support.

Step 5

Measure progress

Outcomes are monitored throughout so everyone can see what is working and where the plan needs adapting.

Step 6

Build sustainable change

Skills, strategies and staff confidence are consolidated so that progress is maintained beyond the intervention itself.

A collaborative approach that works alongside your school

Our role is not to replace the expertise already within your school. We work alongside senior leaders, pastoral teams, SENCOs, safeguarding professionals and teaching staff to provide additional clinical expertise where it is needed.

Supporting the whole school — not just the individual pupil

We believe effective school mental-health provision should extend beyond the therapy session. By combining direct therapeutic intervention with staff consultation, parent support, targeted programmes and psychological expertise, Logical Therapy Solutions can help schools develop a more consistent and informed approach to emotional wellbeing, behaviour and mental health.

Whether you require support for one pupil, a targeted group or a wider school population, we can develop a service around your needs.
